Description

The GB4836 is a Peter Pepper glass writing surface which uses clear laminated glass that has a slight green tint. The glass itself is 1/4" thick with a white backing.  These are also available as the GBX4836-SM series using Starphire low-iron glass.  Starphire doesn't have as much of a tint to it, although there is still a bit.

This is a horizontal unit that measures 48" wide by 36" high.  The vertical style is available as the GB3648.

This is not a magnetic board.  If the ability to attach magnets to the board is important to you, please see the GBX4836-SM which has a magnetic surface and comes with five rare earth magnets.

This model comes standard with the concealed wall mount, using a wall cleat and bracket arrangement.  The optional stand-off mount has a more contemporary look. With stand-off mounts, glass is inserted into a notch and tightened with a set-screw. An aluminum disk conceals fasteners.  Both this Clear version and the Starphire models can be specified with either the standard concealed mount or the optional stand-off mount. 

The pen rail is natural anodized aluminum.  Note that the concealed mount uses a pen rail which is attached to the board itself while the stand-off mount separates the board from the pen rail.

A starter pack of four dry erase markers and an eraser are included.  Additional tool sets can be added.
