Description

This is the 4800-D Express Desk.  It's the self-closing version of the smallest of Peter Pepper's Express 4800 series of wall-mounted folding desks. 

If you need a work surface but space is tight, a wall-mounted desk may be the solution.  It's out of the way until you grab the handle and pull down the front of the desk.  It opens into a work surface with a weight capacity of up to 30 pounds, measuring 20" wide by 16" deep. 

When you're finished and remove the weight from the work surface, the 4800-D automatically closes. 

The cabinet side panels and handle are available in your choice of 27 colors or 7 wood finishes. 

The work surface itself is a laminate with a Soft White finish.  The cabinet interior uses the same Soft White laminate, ideal for sticky notes.  A plastic retainer in the back holds files or supplies upright and out of the way.

The exterior door front (the work surface bottom) is available in 3 laminate finishes: Soft White, Cool Gray, or Maple Laminate.

Need to lock up?  You can add the optional combination lock with key.  Another option is the chart drop slot.  Just drop the file through the top of the closed desk and the acrylic retainer holds it upright.
